EBE is a Romanian organization born from the work of Entrust, which runs church leadership training program in country, as well as among the Romanian Diaspora. Along with their partner Entrust, they have taken on the responsibility of carrying the vision of trained servant-leaders beyond their borders.

My name is Ovidiu Suciu and I serve the Lord as a Deacon of “New Hope” Romanian Church in Zaragoza, Spain. “Efficient” is the word I would use to define the EBE training, both in its curriculum and the philosophy of training. We define something as efficient when it produces something effective or it results in a positive influence.

By God’s grace I was saved at “Alfa and Omega” Pentecostal church in Turda, Romania. That church was not only the place where I experienced new birth, but where I received the spiritual training necessary to serve the Lord. I loved God’s Word from the very beginning, but I didn’t know how to study the Bible. It was like facing a “giant” and I always became frustrated. Meanwhile, the “Alfa and Omega” church became a Church-based Training Center to equip servant-leaders in our area. Soon after joining a small group Bible study I realized that, step by step, this “giant” was removed forever.

In the EBE small group we had the possibility to raise questions, express opinions, share ideas and we learned how to have biblical arguments for what we believed. We developed a biblical way of thinking for ourselves, learned sound doctrine, and improved our ability to accurately share what we believed. We became better servants of the Lord and His Word for the salvation of others.

Our church in Spain has 90 members and by God’s grace we have started Apollo Bible School, a Church-based Training Center. Thirty people (mostly young) currently participate. Our main curriculum was designed from EBE courses. My vision is to continue multiplying servant-leaders who are well-equipped and empowered to do the work of the ministry. I want to see strong and efficient workers of my generation in the field and I want to be a part of the great harvest of this world.
