Entrust Curriculum
Entrust is in the process of revising all the courses in the curriculum. This was in response to the copyright issues that restricted us from using the courses to their fullest potential.
The new curriculum, the result of the revision process, focuses on helping a servant leader develop competences in ministry. The revision is designed to capture all that we have learned in teaching over the last 30 years in countries all over Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.
The focus of the revised courses is character development and skill in ministry through a process of action and reflection. The assignments take place in the context of ministry. Reflection on the ministry experience takes place both privately and in small groups that provide peer mentoring. The courses are designed to deliver learning "just in time", both through assignments, real life stories and case studies that draw the student emotionally and logically into the practical need for what they are learning. This process provides the very best learning environment for the adult student.
The eight areas in which a student will gain typical competences are: administering, discipling, evangelizing, lay counseling, leading, pastoring, preaching and teaching.
The Entrust curriculum is aimed for college level and is part of a learning process which requires trained facilitators. Facilitator Training sessions are held throughout the year. To learn more about Entrust's Facilitator Training please click here.
