Position Available



Summary:  Assists the communications director in guiding the communications team to produce print and electronic materials about the ministries of Entrust. Cooperates with the communications team to conceptualize, develop, write, edit, format and distribute internal and external communication pieces.

Reports to: Director of Communications

Commitment: Part-time

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Compensation: Hourly with benefits and the possibility to raise additional support


  • Encourage and collect stories of God’s work in the ministries and lives of Entrust staff.
  • Attend or lead regular meetings with the communications team to discuss stories, plan content, review content/design and plan schedules for each communications piece.
  • Design and produce quarterly eMagazine and monthly external pieces (electronic and print).
  • Design and produce promotional materials (print, web, social media).
  • Design and produce monthly internal communications pieces.
  • Contribute to Entrust’s overall communications strategy.


  • Entrust donors and partners will be well-informed about God’s work through Entrust ministries.
  • Entrust will gain increased exposure in the greater Christian community.
  • Entrust staff will maintain unity through knowledge of one another’s ministries as the organization expands.
  • Entrust staff will enjoy clear channels of communication with one another and with headquarters personnel.
  • Entrust ministries will be strengthened by increased prayer and increased financial donations.


Professional Qualifications

  • Degree and/or 1-2 years’ experience in design/communications/marketing.
  • Ministry experience desired.
  • Creativity in graphic design, written and broadcast (video) communication.
  • Proven ability to lead a cooperative, creative team.
  • Familiarity with effective social media messaging and analysis.
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn Adobe Creative Cloud software.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Interest and ability to learn other software as necessary.

  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to work well on a team.

  • Ability to bring a spiritual perspective to work as demonstrated in attitude, faithfulness and interpersonal relationships with others.
  • Team spirit and a teachable servant’s heart.
  • Agreement with Entrust Statement of Faith.
