Entrust ministry training began here in 1992; many of those initial students fill church leadership roles today. Entrust staff continue to travel regularly to this small nation, offering basic and advanced ministry development and theological education in church-based settings.
Famous person: Anton Rubinstein
Fabulous foods: sarmale (cabbage leaves stuffed with meat, rice and vegetables), mamaliga (polenta) placinte (holiday pie stuffed with cheese, cabbage, potatoes or apples)
Spiritual climate: About 3.7% of the population might be considered evangelical Christian. Most evangelical pastors have little or no theological training. Evangelicals often face opposition from traditional denominations, and struggle with internal tendencies toward strident legalism.
