EQUIPPING WOMEN TO SERVE
Impacting the kingdom by nurturing, developing and mobilizing others
MODULE 4
EQUIPPING WOMEN TO SERVE
This module begins by building a biblical framework for women serving in ministry. Participants identify the needs, resources, challenges and opportunities in creating and sustaining meaningful ministry teams. They look at essential components for developing servant leaders and discuss how to build a solid team. Spiritual gifts, temperaments and effective spiritual mentoring are explored in the context of building a cohesive ministry team. After exploring each of these components, participants spend time practically applying these principles to the specific ministry God is calling them to fulfill.
MICHELE
As a ministry leader, one of my jobs was to create teams and invest in them. I didn't always know what that investment looked like. As we explored the scriptures together, talked about diversity on our teams and discussed what the Bible says about leaders, I got the tools I needed to survive ministry with full dependence on Jesus and more investment in my team! It was a lifeline!
MELISSA
When I signed up for EWS, I had already served as director of women's ministry for over 15 years. Even with my experience, I learned new skills in leadership styles and leadership development of my staff and volunteers. After completing this module, I was able to better serve the women in my church. The information on spiritual gifts, discipleship and multiplying your ministry were invaluable to me.
